Take the Rights Path: Advocating Health and Human Rights This #WorldAIDSDay
This #WorldAIDSDay, 1 December 2024, the Southeast Asia Harm Reduction Association (AHRA) stands with communities under the theme: “Take the rights path: My health, my right!”
Ending AIDS requires tackling inequalities and prioritizing everyone at risk or affected by HIV, including people who use drugs – especially women and girls facing stigma, health care barriers, criminalization, and incarceration.
Stigma, discrimination, and criminalization undermine progress. Access to HIV prevention, treatment, and care is a human right and must be free from barriers or bias.
Let’s amplify the voices of critical partners in the fight against AIDS – people who use drugs: “Nothing About Us Without Us.”
